Upon your arrival in Cusco, you will be greeted at the airport or bus terminal with a personalized sign and transferred by tourist transport to the selected hotel, where you can settle in comfortably.
We will begin our adventure with a visit to the imposing Temple of the Sun, known as Qorikancha, considered the first stage of the Inti Raymi festival. We will then continue to the majestic ruins of Sacsayhuamán, and later explore Qenqo, Pukapukara, and Tambomachay, complexes that stand out for their astonishing Inca engineering, evident in their terraces, ceremonial enclosures, and water channels that still function to this day.
On our second day, we will tour the Sacred Valley, starting with a visit to the archaeological site of Chinchero, where the ancient estate of Inca Túpac Yupanqui and its imposing colonial temple, built upon Inca foundations, are preserved. This place is also famous for its colorful handicraft markets and is considered a space of deep cultural value.
We will then continue to Moray, known as the “Inca agricultural laboratory,” made up of circular terraces that showcase the advanced engineering of the ancient Peruvians, who recreated different microclimates for agricultural experimentation.
Afterward, we will head to Urubamba to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch prepared with products from the Sacred Valley. Following lunch, we will continue by bus for 30 minutes to reach the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, a place that was successively occupied. During Inca times, it was a multifunctional settlement that served as an administrative, military, social, and economic center, as well as a control point for access to various ecological zones.
Finally, we will explore the impressive Maras Salt Mines, a complex of more than 3,000 salt ponds that are still traditionally harvested by local families, offering a unique and picturesque visual spectacle.
At the end of the day, we will head to Machu Picchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes), where we will be waiting to receive you and transfer you directly to your hotel.
At the scheduled time, we will transfer to the bus station to begin the ascent to the enigmatic Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, the most famous jewel of Inca architecture, discovered in 1911 by Hiram Bingham.
Once inside the citadel, we will enjoy a guided tour through its main constructions: the Viewpoint, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Intihuatana, the Main Square, among other areas that reveal the greatness of this wonder of the world.
At the end of the visit, we will take the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time for lunch and to explore on your own.
In the afternoon, we will board the train back to Cusco from the Aguas Calientes station. Upon arrival, a tourist transport will take you back to your hotel.
This December 31st, we invite you to join us for a special New Year’s Eve dinner at our TUNUPA restaurant, located in Cusco’s Plaza de Armas. It will be an evening full of unique flavors and special details to welcome 2026 together. Remember that seating is limited—reserve your spot and let’s celebrate!
In Cusco, New Year’s Eve is a vibrant experience, filled with music, joy, and overflowing energy. The city transforms into a huge stage with free concerts, fireworks shows, drinks, and fun traditions that make this celebration truly unforgettable. It’s no coincidence that the ancient capital of the Incas is today Peru’s most popular destination to say goodbye to the year.
At midnight, the Plaza de Armas lights up with thousands of fireworks—not only the official display organized by the municipality, but also those set off by locals and visitors. Even from the hills surrounding the city, bursts of light can be seen, creating a magical spectacle that envelops all of Cusco.
Among the most anticipated traditions is the famous “lap around the Plaza de Armas.” When the clock strikes twelve, the crowd holds hands—even with strangers—and begins to run counterclockwise. The entire square becomes a human river flowing with laughter, hugs, and good wishes. You may start by walking slowly or running at full speed, but what truly matters is letting yourself be carried away by the magic of the moment, where it feels as if time moves backward and is reborn all at once.
We will start the morning with a traditional New Year’s breakfast, savoring the delicious adobo cusqueño, a typical dish that is an essential part of local celebrations.
At the scheduled time, we will transfer you from the hotel to the airport or bus terminal for your return journey, taking with you the best memories of this unforgettable experience in Cusco and Machu Picchu.
